We had our first chance since the storms to head over to Jost Van Dyke yesterday

And, it’s hard to put into words the combination of destruction and positivity, the lack of resources but also the yearning for tourism.  We were welcomed warmly everywhere we went and were told how much they appreciated us visiting.   We were also shocked at seeing how much they have accomplished with such little resources.  There is still so much to be done and there are two funds you can donate to in order to help out:

Jost Van Dyke Preservation Society- https://www.gofundme.com/jost-van-dyke-humanitarian-aid and The Soggy Dollar Bar has Coordinated a Fund to help out those affected on White Bay- http://www.soggydollar.com/

Many photos below to show you our first trip to Jost Van Dyke.  We will be heading back this weekend on a supply run and will post those pictures soon!
