Some of you may have already been lucky enough to spend a day on the water with Captain Ryan so we’re a bit behind in introducing him, but we wanted to do so officially!
Ryan, a very dear friend of myself and Joe, has recently taken over two days every week so we can give Captain Joe a break from the sun, and we’re extremely happy to have him onboard with us!
Captain Ryan, originally from Ohio, has called the Virgin Islands home since 2005, having lived on both St. John and St. Thomas at times. An avid outdoorsman, he can frequently be found on one of the beaches, hiking trails, or reefs around St. John while not on charter. Ryan began his career as a sailboat crew and later captain, working with Captain Joe early on in their marine careers. He now enjoys the longer range and abundant stops afforded by private power boat charters and CatZilla. He enjoys making personal connections with his guests and is committed to making each charter a highlight his guests will remember for years to come.

Our family had a wonderful day on Catzilla with Captain Ryan! He was very flexible with what we wanted to do and had great suggestions to add to our excursion! We were able to see so much in the BVI and Ryan took care of all the timing of the stops so we had no worries all day; he even called in our lunch ahead of time so there was a table waiting for us when we pulled up! The boat was spacious and comfortable to fit the 5 in our family with the bean bags on the bow being our favorite.
