The first question after booking the trip is always, okay now What should we do?

The Virgin Islands offers plenty of options including snorkeling, boat trips, hiking, rich history, beach bars, relaxation, white sand beaches and more!

Explore By Boat

The Virgin Islands is a playground of sorts and there is no better way to explore and enjoy than by getting on the water.  Whether you’re a novice boater or experienced, a day on the water is always everyone’s favorite day of their trip.  Our trips start out with snorkeling a few spots you can’t get to by car followed by lunch, usually right on the water, and then groups decide from there how to spend the remainder of their day.  Some like to snorkel more, some like to cliff jump, and some opt for cocktails with a view.

Explore by Car

One thing to do that’s really fun on St John is go for a drive.  Also not for the faint of heart, our roads are narrow and windy but tons of island gems can be found if you spend the time.  Google maps works about half the time and getting lost usually ends in a pretty good story revolving around Donkeys or chickens and someone offering directions to a local spot for a refreshing drink or delicious local treat.

Hike

St John is mostly National Park so there are hiking trails all over the island that we love to explore.  From off the beaten path to more frequently used, our hiking trails are maintained by the National Park and offer panoramic views and sometimes historical education while offering a nice workout.

Shopping

The main town of Cruz Bay offers great shopping; we love a good lunch stop followed by exploring in Mongoose Junction, Wharfside Village and all along the way.  Cruz Bay is a small walkabout town with plenty of exploring to offer and helps to off set the question of “What to do in the Virgin Islands?’

Island Hopping and Exploring

There really is nothing better than a day on the water in the Virgin Islands.  Whether exploring the BVI or USVI, definitely make time to spend a day on the water! A captains local knowledge will go a long way towards an excellent day and one your whole family is sure to remember.  Kids are more than welcome and do great on boats, even the little ones, who tend to sleep while underway, but one thing is for sure, everyone will be beat at the end of the day and talking about their day for weeks and months to come.

Beach Days

The Beaches in the VI are white sand with turquoise clear water.  Who doesn’t love a casual beach day with a packed cooler to lounge and enjoy.  Some of our beaches have amenities while most don’t so plan ahead, pack that cooler, take some chairs and shade and made a day of it!
