A Few Of Our Favorite Things, and by things we mean Caribbean Things. In the light of the holiday season, we thought it would be a great time to make a list of our favorite Caribbean Things, Places, etc. both on Saint John and on other islands.

  1. Anegada– One of our absolute favorite islands.  It’s the only coral atoll in the island chain boasting the highest point being just 26 ft.  They have pink flamingos, rock Iguanas, and the best lobster in the BVI
  2. Sunday Brunch at Ocean 362 or Rhumblines– Two of our favorite restaurants to gather a group of friends for bottomless bloody mary’s and delicious brunch before heading to the beach
  3. Weekend trips to Old San Juan– Considering we got married here, this one has to be on the list.  Old San Juan is like stepping off the plane into a european country.  With blue cobblestone streets, delicious food, and 16th century architecture, we fall in love with the city every time we visit!
  4. Solomon Beach– After a nice short hike, Solomon is my favorite spot to relax and watch the boats coming in and out of Cruz Bay
  5. Snorkeling The Indians on a crisp clear day– Snorkeling the Indians is ALWAYS good, but on a day when the water is crystal clear, you can see 50ft to the bottom.
  6. Nanny KeyPeg legs bar here is a great stop over during a charter or fun day and we love docking here, grabbing a beer, and then hanging out by their pool.
  7. Carvel Rock– Just a short way off of Saint John, this little rock is perfect for a calm day snorkel or a great stop off for the adventurous type to cliff jump
  8. Dinner at Zozos– By far the best restaurant on Saint John.  Always a real treat to have dinner here, we always recommend our guests to make sure they make their reservations in advance because it will be their best meal on island.
  9. Abi– A great new beach bar on Saint Thomas’s South Shore, we love stopping here for fish tacos and their pomegranate vodka cocktail followed by a quick volleyball game or corn hole tournament
  10. The Plain Jane Pizza from Pizza Pi followed by a sweet pizza stick- No description needed, just a cold beer to compliment the pizza
  11. The Longboard for a spice bowl or shrimp tacos and a heart and soul- Our favorite new restaurant; we frequent at least twice a week
  12. Fresh local Wahoo, Mahi, and Tuna- We’re lucky enough to have friends who fish and let us buy fresh from them. It’s a real treat and we LOVE all the  great fish that our waters allow for us!
  13. Hiking Ram’s headcheck out the blog post here
  14. Coral Bay “Road Trips“- A fun activity; it takes a lot for us to get ALL the way to coral bay so you have to make a day of it, complete with a cooler of beer, lots of good friends, and a stop at skinny legs
  15. Of course this list can’t be complete without adding White Bay to the list.  We love a fun day at White Bay with friends, floating on the water beside CatZilla with a cold drink and good music.
